ATTENTION TO ALL RAT TERRIER LOVERS:
DUE TO POOR HEALTH IN THE FAMILY WE WILL BE RAISING RAT TERRIERS
rarely; AND ARE LOOKING TO PLACE SOME OF OUR RATTIES IN GOOD AND LOVING HOMES.
welcome to rabrenhill terriers,where we
are sure you will find the companion you are looking for. we feel that we have the most personable rat terriers
in the south,as well as good-looking,and i hope that you will too, after touring our website.
we specialize in the 10 lb. and under size at present, but
do occasionally have litters of mini to standards.
we live in the middle of 60 acres of land,so our dogs have plenty of room for romping and just
being a terrier.don't let this mislead you;all of our dogs are raised in the house, with supervision and love from day one. From
the largest, our ariel, jessie, carrie and too daht, to the smallest our little bittieman who holds the record for the smallest
rat terrier recorded(one lb. 15 oz.) .they are very special members of our family, not just pets.we now have apricots
and red sable in our stock ,so we are expecting some variation in our colors.we also have blue and chocolate,as well
as the tri-color black and white.
our dogs are carefully supervised during their mating, pregnancy, and delivery.
our pups tails are docked at two days, they are wormed at three weeks,at six weeks, and at nine
weeks.they are given their first set of shots at 6 weeks; and given par/dist/a-2pl+lepto(7 in 1)and again at nine weeks,if
they still remain with us.
the new pups are well socialized, loved on a regular basis, and treated with
love and patience.we believe that this makes the better pup, gives them their individuality.we hope that you will agree, and
after looking, hope that we can provide you with your new friend.
we have alot of people ask why our dogs are so much.with all the training, love
and care we give them we tell people they might find a cheaper dog,but they won't find a better dog.
Virginia Federation - Vfdcb The USDA/APHIS rule will go into effect November 18, 2013. In preparation
people may want to post this DISCLAIMER on their websites. This is something those of us on pet-law have worked up. Feel free
to share it and/or change it. Alice 9-24-13
Beginning November 18, 2013, I will be joining a very large number
of other breeders across the U.S. in no longer shipping puppies. Due to a change in Department of Agriculture regulations
for pet breeders that USDA itself has interpreted in contradictory ways, it is impossible for most persons who sell dogs to
know whether it is legal to ship a dog that the buyer has not already seen at the seller's location. Violations of this rule
carry severe penalties. For our safety, ALL sales must take place at the breeder's premises. This ruling is
going to seriously curtail the choice of those wishing to buy the puppy of their choice unless you are willing to travel to
your breeder of choice regardless of distance. As written this will also affect service dogs being made available to those
in need. While we do understand the need to stop those who don't properly care for their animals, and who
knowingly sell sick puppies, we already have state and federal laws for those things. If you would like to
help us fight this bad choice of regulation policy, please contact me or your breeder of choice to see what you can do to
help. It is YOUR right to be able to buy a puppy from whoever you choose and to pick it up personally or have your puppy shipped
to you or to meet your breeder at a mutually agreed upon place to save you travel and expense. However you only have that
right if it remains OUR right to offer those choices.
